Research Subjects	(1) Development of new dosimetry and patient specific dose verification system in radiation therapy with high-energy photon beams (2) Development of new dosimetry and evaluation method of patient radiation dose in diagnostic x-ray examinations and x-ray computed tomography
Research Focus	The topics of our research are as follows: (1) To develop new dosimetry and patient specific dose verification system in higher accurate radiation therapy such as intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) and volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT). (2) To develop new dosimetry and evaluation method of patient radiation dose in diagnostic x-ray examinations and x-ray computed tomography. Our laboratory has been developing new dosimetry and dose evaluation method in radiation therapy and diagnostic radiation examinations, based on Monte Carlo calculations.
