Master's Program of Health Sciences

In the Master's program, we have established three departments including Nursing, Radiological Sciences, and Medical Laboratory Sciences, and have developed the curriculum to be easy to learn for both general students and medical professionals.

Doctoral Program of Health Sciences

This course develops knowledge and skill in all the medical field including, Nursing, Medical Radiological Sciences and Medical Laboratory Sciences, and integrates them all into one major course. All of the teaching staff of Graduate School of Health Sciences are assigned to train students. Thus it is possible to nurture researchers, educators and professionals who are highly skilled, and have deep knowledge and wide ranging viewpoints. To meet this aim, this course has professional education courses, Course of Nursing and Course of Medical Technologies and Sciences.

Curriculum

Master's Program of Health Sciences

The course subjects of the Master's program include basic subjects to be studied across all three departments (7 subjects, 14 credits). In addition to basic required nursing courses, the Nursing department study program includes specialist courses for students wishing to become hands-on leaders and students who want positions in education or research (57 subjects, 116 credits), as well as special research activities (10 credits).

The Radiological Sciences department and Medical Laboratory Sciences department study programs include specialist courses for students wishing to become hands-on leaders and students who want positions in education or research (12 subjects, 24 credits), as well as special research activities (10 credits).

In the Nursing department study program, we offer a curriculum that allows you to qualify for Psychiatric Nurse Specialist, Home Nursing Specialist, Cancer Nursing Specialist and Specialized Teaching Certificate for High School (Nursing) qualifications. For the Radiological Sciences department study program, we established a curriculum which prepares you to take the Medical Physicist Examination.

We offer courses and intensive lectures in the evening and at other specific times for students who are working adults.

Doctoral Program of Health Sciences

The conditions for the completion of doctoral course are to attend this course more than three years, obtain more than 12 units and pass the review of doctoral thesis and final exam. Classes are interdisciplinary special subject, optional compulsory subject, and students can choose from special subjects or interdisciplinary subjects and make it a special study. It is possible to shorten the term. If the faculty council acknowledges the student's achievement, two-year enrollment is enough to obtain the degree.

This course supports working members

  1. 1If necessary, classes are conducted at night time, Saturday, Sunday and summer, winter holidays.
  2. 2Using Internet: Students can use Internet for home study, and join discussions using emails and Internet TV.
  3. 3Long-term study: Provided for full-time workers only. They are allowed to complete the course in a maximum of 6 years.
