Research Focus To improve active learning and critical thinking by student nurses and nurses, we are developing assessment scales, such as a self-regulated learning scale in clinical nursing practice, the self-image scale of nurses, and also reflection programs about their clinical experiences. In addition, we are seeking new strategies for prevention of health care-associated infection by using positive deviance (PD) approach, which is based on the premise that the solutions to intractable problems exist in the medical community.
