  • Construction and clinical evaluation of novel methods for detecting autonomic dysfunction
Research Focus Autonomic dysfunction can occur as a secondary condition of another disease process, such as diabetic neuropathy or familial amyloidotic polyneuropathy (FAP). Since autonomic dysfunction affect the survival or quality of life (QOL) in these patients, an understanding of and recognition of the dysfunction are important. However, these conditions are often misdiagnosed. So we are adopting several new methods to evaluate autonomic function early and accurately.
