The Department of Child Health and Pediatric Nursing educates to achieve understanding of children and their families at all levels of development and health so that the people who need physical and mental support can be understood from a biological and psychosocial standpoint and self-care and nursing care to improve QOL can be provided. Students will also learn practical abilities for basic nursing support for child patients.

In maternal nursing, students are educated on the knowledge and techniques involved in supporting health maintenance, promotion, and recovery to improve female and mother-child health through the understanding of female life sciences, maternal nursing, and the characteristics of maternal development stages based mainly on the concepts of reproductive health rights.
In the field of midwifery, which is based in the field of maternal nursing, we train students in midwifery theory and techniques and educate them in fetal management from inception to birth so that they can contribute to the health and welfare of women, their children, and their families.
