Our vision
In the Health Sciences doctorate program, our aim is to foster students who will become educators and researchers that will contribute to society by working to make qualitative improvements in response to new developments and by training the next generation of human resources. To this end, we train students so that they develop the ability to transform the state of the medical system, with the myriad issues it currently faces, and to contribute new interdisciplinary research areas to the fields of health, medicine, and welfare. Within this practical field requiring both knowledge and skills, we expect our graduates to act as leaders in the field of health care, having acquired scientific and logical knowledge and skills, and to work as medical professionals who have developed the diverse perspectives in the fields of medicine and health needed to advance team-based medicine.
